Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the provider that operates the results function. Crystal Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches on its own servers. A message sent to us contains only the information included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Hosting services create routine logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review aggregate activity to maintain the service and understand use of its pages. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How We Use Information
Information is used to operate the service, address technical problems, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services
Links may lead to county and state portals, archives, library collections, and third-party search functions. The receiving organization’s policy governs information submitted there, including information submitted through sponsored search results operated by another company.
When Data Is Shared
Hosting and support providers process server logs for the service. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are kept only for the purposes described here. Because there are no visitor accounts, Crystal Residents Directory does not hold a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on eligibility and applicable law, visitors may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or opt out of certain processing of personal data. Minnesota’s Consumer Data Privacy Act, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 325M, took effect July 31, 2025 and includes exclusions and limits. Because this service keeps very little, a request normally involves the contact mailbox and available logs. Use the Contact page. Public records maintained by Minnesota, Hennepin County, or Crystal remain under the control of their custodians.
